Who, then, among you is noble? Who is compassionate? Who is fully assured in love?
Let him say: “If rebellion, strife, and schisms have arisen because of me, I will withdraw. I will go wherever you wish, and I will do what the congregation commands. Only let the flock of Christ be at peace with the appointed presbyters.”
The one who does this will gain great glory for himself in Christ, and every place will receive him, for “the earth is the Lord's and all its fullness.”
Those who live according to God's way of life, which brings no regret, have done these things and will continue to do them.
