38.1

Therefore let our whole body be preserved in Christ Jesus, and let each person submit to his neighbor according to the gift assigned to him.

38.2

Let the strong not neglect the weak, and let the weak respect the strong. Let the rich provide for the poor, and let the poor give thanks to God because he has given him someone through whom his need may be supplied. Let the wise person show his wisdom not in words but in good works. Let the humble-minded person not testify about himself, but allow another to testify about him. Let the person who is pure in the flesh not boast, knowing that it is another who grants him self-control.

38.3

Therefore let us consider, brothers and sisters, from what material we came to be, and from what grave and darkness the one who formed and created us brought us into his world, having prepared his acts of kindness before we were born.

38.4

Since, then, we have all these things from him, we ought to give thanks to him in everything. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen.
