To Emperor Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Pius Augustus Caesar; to Verissimus his son, the Philosopher; to Lucius, natural son of Caesar the Philosopher and adopted son of Pius, a lover of learning; to the sacred Senate; and to the whole people of Rome: I, Justin, son of Priscus and grandson of Bacchius, from Flavia Neapolis in Syria Palestine, one of those who are unjustly hated and mistreated among people of every race, have composed this address and petition on their behalf.
