Therefore, my beloved children in the Lord, I want you to know that because of our foolishness He chose what is foolish; because of our weakness He took the form of weakness; because of our poverty He became poor; and because of our death He put on the form of death. Since He endured all these things for us, I truly tell you, beloved in the Lord, that we must not give sleep to our eyes or slumber to our eyelids.
We should ask and press the immeasurable goodness of God the Father until He comes forth with us, so that in this we may have the rest of the coming of Jesus and the strength to serve the saints who hasten to care for us, stirring their spirits to eagerness in the time of our negligence so that they may help us in the time of our tribulation. Then the one who sows and the one who reaps will rejoice together.
