If a person sins against another person, people pray to God for him; but if someone sins against God, to whom will people pray on his behalf? That man, then, has undertaken a great matter—an incurable wound. For if he had known himself, his tongue would not have spoken of what he did not know. But he revealed that he did not know himself.
