It is not when the fox cries out—that is, you, servant of Mammon—with loud cries that the lion—that is, I, the servant of Christ—is frightened.
I know that it is not me you are fighting, but Jesus, who dwells in the Christians.
Jesus, in turn, is a match for you yourself and for your father, the devil who dwells in you and in whom you place your hope.
And so are they, for their part, together with their father who dwells in them—Jesus, in whom they place their trust.
No one who has Jesus ever comes to shame, as you said.
