And You are also the One who said through them, “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Therefore have pity on Your people, O Long-suffering One, whose mercy is great,
and rescue them from the hand of those who oppress them,
as You did Your people Israel at that time, so that they may have respite to know that there is no other God but You.
Or do You not see that the pagans, the nations, and the godless were unable to know You because they found no respite amid their apostasy—
and all their impurities?
