They abstain from Eucharist and prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ—the flesh that suffered for our sins, which the Father raised by his goodness. Therefore those who contradict the gift of God die while disputing; but it would benefit them to love, so that they too may rise.
It is fitting to abstain from such people and neither to speak about them privately nor publicly, but to pay attention to the prophets, and especially to the Gospel, in which the passion has been revealed to us and the resurrection has been brought to completion. But flee divisions as the beginning of evils.
