I have many thoughts in God, but I measure myself so that I may not perish through boasting. For now I need to fear all the more and not pay attention to those who puff me up. For those who speak to me are a scourge to me.

For I love suffering, but I do not know whether I am worthy. For envy is not visible to many, but it wars against me all the more. Therefore I need gentleness, in which the ruler of this age is brought to nothing.
