11.1

Flee, then, from the evil offshoots that bear deadly fruit. If anyone tastes it, he dies immediately. For these are not the planting of the Father.

11.2

For if they were, they would appear as branches of the cross, and their fruit would be incorruptible. Through the cross, in his passion, he calls you, who are his members. A head, then, cannot be born apart from limbs, since God promises union, which is himself.
