Chapter 11

I say these things, my beloved, not because I have learned that any among you hold such views, but, as one lesser than you, I want to guard you beforehand, so that you do not fall into the hooks of vainglory, but are fully assured of the birth, the Passion, and the Resurrection that took place during the governorship of Pontius Pilate, truly and certainly accomplished by Jesus Christ, our hope, from which may none of you ever turn aside.
