I no longer want to live according to human beings. This will happen if you desire it. Desire it, so that you also may be desired.
I ask you through a few written words: believe me. Jesus Christ will make these things clear to you, that I am speaking truly—the mouth that does not lie, in whom the Father truly spoke.
Ask concerning me, so that I may attain. I wrote to you not according to the flesh but according to the mind of God. If I suffer, you have desired it; if I am rejected, you have hated me.
