I am not commanding you as though I were someone. For even though I am bound for the Name, I have not yet been perfected in Jesus Christ. For now I am beginning to be a disciple, and I address you as my fellow learners. For I needed to be prepared by you in faith, admonition, endurance, and patience.
But since love does not allow me to be silent about you, for this reason I took the initiative to exhort you to be in accord with the mind of God. For Jesus Christ, our inseparable life, is the mind of the Father, just as the bishops appointed to the ends of the earth are in the mind of Jesus Christ.
